Quality Recovery exists because patients and practices both deserve better than what the postoperative and wound-care experience has traditionally offered. Better than a kit. Better than a handoff.
What was needed was infrastructure — a system, and a partner willing to own the hard parts: billing, compliance, documentation, audit defense, and the guided recovery experience that continues long after the patient leaves the surgical center. That is what we built. And it is how we operate, for every practice and every patient we serve.
Built from the Inside Out.
Quality Recovery grew from a decade inside wound care and DME billing — not observing it, but operating in it. Billing claims. Responding to audits. Watching practices absorb complexity that should never have been theirs to carry.
That experience showed us two things clearly: practices wanted to give patients a guided, supported recovery after discharge, and the industry producing the programs they needed was too often building them on aggressive billing strategies rather than clinical integrity.
