DME

Durable Medical Equipment, also known as DME, refers to several devices used within the medical profession. Despite being broad and encompassing several different fields, the term is often linked with devices for disabled patients to prevent injury or treat chronic conditions. Pain management specialists commonly use braces, but there are also items such as canes and walkers. Amputees can often utilize prosthetics, while others recovering from surgery or suffering from physical debilitation may require wheelchairs, crutches, or other mobility aids.

At Quality Recovery, we have a mission to give our patients the best care so they can enjoy their life and return to doing what they want. We offer various DMEs that are critical for patients with severe chronic conditions.

  • OnLux (Light Therapy) device emits energy that effectively manages pain, edema, and scaring (surgical incision site), electrical products do not.
  • OnLux (Light Therapy) treats the underlying cause of the pain and edema for more effective management of injury, electrical products do not.
  • TENS/IFC electric stim units focus on the nerves (pain treatment).
